Elina Born, born June 29, 1994 in Lehtse, Estonia, is an Estonian pop singer. Her musical career began when Stig Rästa discovered her on YouTube, which led her to participate in the reality-competition show Eesti otsib superstaari (2012), where she finished as runner-up. She participated in Eesti Laul (2013) with her debut single “Enough” (2013), and reached Number 1 on the Estonian charts with her follow-up single “Miss Calculation” (2013). Alongside Rästa, she represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song “Goodbye to Yesterday” (2015), finishing in number 7 with 106 points. Her self-titled debut studio album, Elina Born, was released on May 18, 2015. She returned to Eesti Laul in 2017 with the single “In or Out” (2017), placing number 10 in the final. Her other releases include “Jagatud saladus” (2018), a duet with Jüri Pootsmann.
