Budd is an Australian rock band from Brisbane, Queensland, established in 1991. The ensemble was founded by guitarist Jeremy Finlayson, who has remained the group's only constant member. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Fuzzgutzn (1991) followed by the single "Helpmeswell" (1992) through the label Fellaheen Records. The ensemble reached wider visibility for the extended play Yakfat (1993), which reached number 3 on the ARIA Alternative Top 20 Singles chart. Their discography included the extended play Naf' (1994), which reached number 19 on the ARIA Alternative Top 20 Albums chart. Following a relocation to Melbourne, the group released the studio recording Prana (1998) through the label Fellaheen followed by the studio recording Jawa (2009). In 2015, the ensemble reached professional recognition when a limited vinyl reissue of Yakfat prompted a reunion of the original lineup for performances in Brisbane. Finlayson reestablished activity with a new lineup in 2024 and announced plans to release new material and reissue the band's recording history on vinyl.
