Robert Gass is an American singer and musician born in 1948. His musical career spans genres including classical, psychedelic rock and sacred chant, with a discography of 22 albums. In 1970, he released the album Freedom Express as Bob Gass and the recording Welcome with the group Bead Game. His subsequent recordings included the albums On Wings of Song (1976), Many Blessings (1980), Trust in Love (1981) and Chant (1999). Gass collaborated with various environmental and social justice organizations and served as a board chair for Greenpeace. His work included guided meditation recordings such as Opening the Heart (1991) and Living with Loss (1993).
