Old Funeral was a Norwegian death metal band formed in Bergen in 1988. Their initial releases included the demos The Fart that Should Not Be (1989) and Abduction of Limbs (1990), followed by the EP Devoured Carcass in 1991. The band disbanded in 1992, but later gained renewed recognition as several former members became involved in other notable bands and projects. Their musical style was influenced by Carcass and Morbid Angel.
