Gianluca Bezzina, born 9 November 1989 in Qrendi, Malta, is a medical doctor and singer whose career began with piano accordion lessons at age seven and participation in the Malta Children’s Choir. After early releases such as the single "Tomorrow" that won the 2013 Maltese national final, he represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, securing eighth place in the final with 120 points and earning a spot on the UK Singles Chart at number 37. His debut studio album, Waiting for Tomorrow, was issued on 22 July 2013, followed by the 2015 EP Glorious and subsequent albums Something Happened (2018), Spacesuits (2019), Sailors (2021), and Bonfire With The Travellers (2022). Bezzina has collaborated with artists such as Ira Losco and Michela, and in 2023 served as a judge on X Factor Malta. His work has consistently appeared on Maltese charts, and his 2013 Eurovision entry remains the only Maltese entry to enter the UK Singles Chart.
