Beyond Creation, a Canadian technical death metal band from Montreal, Quebec, was formed in 2005 by guitarist and vocalist Simon Girard and guitarist Nicolas Domingo Viotto. The duo initially struggled to perform live, eventually recruiting bassist Kevin Chartré in 2008. After several lineup changes, including the departure of Domingo Viotto and the addition of Dominic "Forest" Lapointe on bass, Beyond Creation released their debut album The Aura in April 2011. The band signed with Season of Mist in February 2013, leading to extensive touring with acts like Cannibal Corpse and Napalm Death. Their second album, Earthborn Evolution, was released in late 2014, followed by tours across North America, Australia, and Japan. In October 2018, Beyond Creation released their third album, Algorythm.
