In 2013, Canadian band Groenland, led by the charismatic voice of singer Sabrina Halde, came to prominence with their debut album The Chase. Greenland then embarked on a gigantic two-year tour that took them across Canada and across the Atlantic to perform in Europe. But this didn't stop the band, who were also chosen by Apple to illustrate a commercial narrated by the voice of Martin Scorsese, from releasing Don't Fix Me Yet in 2014, followed by a new album. The latter, entitled A Wider Space, was released in 2016 and is both more personal and realistic, even darker, since it is, according to the musicians, "a manifesto evoking the state that follows the euphoria felt at the start of an adventure. The lyrics evoke anxiety, fear, survival and self-acceptance. Greenland collaborated with producer Marcus Paquin, who has worked with Local Natives, Arcade Fire and The National.
