Thomas Michael Pace, born on 13 January 1949 in Boise, Idaho, was an American singer and songwriter. His breakthrough came with the song "Maybe", which became the theme for The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams, a film and television series loosely based on a biography by Charles E. Sellier Jr. Initially conceived for The Snow Tigers, "Maybe" was ultimately used as the theme for The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams. The song, which started as a medley titled "Wear The Sun In Your Heart" / "Maybe", reached number one in Germany and stuck around for nine weeks. He received the Goldene Europa Award, the German equivalent of the Grammy Award for Best Song of 1980. "Maybe" also charted at number 14 in the UK Singles Chart and number 23 in the Kent Music Report Singles Chart in Australia. His other notable works include collaborations with Maria Hegsted on songs for various films, such as Movies of the Week by NBC, Vestige Of Honor, Can You Feel Me Dancing, Night of the Comet, and State Park. His discography includes albums like Maybe (1980), Not in Compliance (2002), and comeback album, Come Down Hard (Youth Rising) Thom Pace Music, released in 2018.
