Celin Romero, born in November 1936, in Málaga, Spain, is a classical guitarist. He began his musical journey at an early age, receiving guitar lessons from his father, Celedonio Romero. At seven years old, he debuted on Radio Nacional de España and later studied music history and theory at the Málaga Conservatory. In 1960, Romero formed the guitar quartet Los Romeros with his father and brothers Pepe and Angel. The group performed extensively in the USA, Europe, and Asia, collaborating with composers such as Joaquín Rodrigo and Federico Moreno Torroba. During this period, Romero also taught at the University of California, San Diego and San Diego State University. Notable albums by Los Romeros include Spanish Guitar Music (1960) and An Evening with the Romeros (1973). In 2000, Romero and his brothers, Pepe and Angel, were awarded the Order of Isabella the Catholic.
