Aqueduct is an American indie pop band led by singer-songwriter David Terry. Originally launched as Terry's bedroom recording project in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the act relocated to Seattle in 2003 and gradually expanded into a full band. Known for its melodic blend of synth-pop, piano-driven arrangements, and witty songwriting, Aqueduct has shared stages with Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, and United State of Electronica. Signed to Barsuk Records, they released their first full-length album, I Sold Gold, in 2005, which received praise from Pitchfork Media, followed by Or Give Me Death in 2007. After a period of recording inactivity, Aqueduct returned in 2015 with the album Wild Knights.
