Daniel Goffey is an English musician. He was born on February 7, 1974, in Eton, England. He began his musical career in primary school with his band, the Fallopian Tubes. He later played as the drummer for the band The Jennifers. Goffey made a pact with his bandmate Gaz Coombes to continue working together if the group disbanded. After the group dissolved, Coombes introduced him to Mick Quinn in 1993. The musicians began rehearsing together with Goffey on percussion, forming the alternative rock band Supergrass.
