Manic Hispanic is a Chicano punk rock supergroup from Orange County and Los Angeles, California, known for humorous reworkings of classic punk songs with lyrics referencing Mexican American and Chicano culture. Formed in 1992 by members of the Cadillac Tramps and the Adolescents, Manic Hispanic adopted cholo-inspired stage names and clothing as part of its identity. Their debut album, The Menudo Incident, appeared in 1995, followed by The Recline of Mexican Civilization (2001), Mijo Goes to Jr. College (2003), and Grupo Sexo (2005). Following the deaths of founding members Mike Gaborno in 2017 and Steve Soto in 2018, the band continued with new members. They released Back in Brown in 2021 and a self-titled album in 2026.
