AŌP, a Japanese idol group known for their anime songs, was formed in 2012. The group initially consisted of several members, including Yuriko Hisaki and Misae Komori as original members. AŌP's music career began with the release of their first single "はなまるぴっぴはよいこだけ(TV Version)" in October 2015. The group gained significant attention with subsequent releases such as "全力バタンキュー" and 全力バタンキュー, which were released in February 2016.
Throughout their career, AŌP released several albums and EPs, including X (May 31, 2017), 君氏危うくも近うよれ (November 21, 2017), and まぼろしウインク (March 14, 2018). The group also saw several lineup changes over the years. Notable members who joined in March 2018 included Yūna Asahi, Hinaki Kudō, Rin Kojima, Yukina Tsutsumi, Non Harusaki, and Seena Hoshiki. AŌP disbanded on March 31, 2021, marking the end of their active career. During their tenure, AŌP achieved chart success with many of their songs ranking on Oricon charts.
