Timbre Cierpke, born in Louisville, Kentucky and better known as Timbre, is an American harpist, singer-songwriter, musician and composer whose career began with early harp performances by age 12. After earning a Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance from Trevecca University, she released Winter Comes to Wake You in 2008, establishing her neoclassical and folk style. In 2010, she issued Little Flowers, followed by Silent Night in 2011 and the double album Sun & Moon in 2015, the latter selected by UNESCO's Crossings Institute as a key 2010s release. She collaborated with Jack White on Lazaretto, toured Europe and the U.S. with her band Timbre, and contributed vocals to the video game Spiritfarer in 2020.
