Daniel O’Sullivan, born on December 1, 1980, in Manchester, is an English musician, composer, and producer. He first emerged with experimental art‑rock collaborations, notably with Grumbling Fur and Ulver, and released his solo debut, VELD, in 2017 on O Genesis Recordings. Subsequent albums Folly (2019), Electric Māyā: Dream Flotsam and Astral Hinterlands (2020), Fourth Density (2021), The Physic Garden (2023), and Rosarium (2023) followed, each featuring extensive collaborations with artists such as Alexander Tucker, Charlemagne Palestine, and Thighpaulsandra. His work has been released through labels including VHF Records, Thrill Jockey, and KPM, and his projects have earned critical acclaim, with Furrier ranking Number 1 on The Quietus in 2013 and Glynnaestra entering the Top 50 of Wire and Fact.
