Future User, an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, was formed in 2013. The group consisted of Tim Commerford on lead vocals and bass guitar, Jordan Tarlow on keyboards and programming, and Jon Knox on drums. Future User released their debut single "Clockwork" in 2014. Their first album, #SteroidsOrHeroin, was released in 2015 through the iTunes Store. The band's music combined electronic elements with progressive rock, a style they described as "Progtronic." Notable songs from their debut album include "Clockwork", "Supernatural", and "Medication Nation". Future User also released a limited edition vinyl version of #SteroidsOrHeroin in 2015. The band's music videos featured high-profile cameos, including Stan Lee in "Supernatural" and Lance Armstrong in "Mountain Lion".
