Sanja Bizjak, born on September 8, 1988, in Belgrade, Serbia, is a pianist who began studying piano at six under Professor Zlata Males and performed Haydn’s Piano Concerto in D with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra at seven. She entered the piano class of Jacques Rouvier at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris in February 2001, later refining her technique with Alexander Satz in Graz, Elisso Virsaladze in Munich, and two‑piano studies with Rouvier. In 2003, she secured second place at the Vladimir Horowitz competition in Kyiv, and in 2004 received the piano and chamber music prizes of the Conservatoire de Paris with unanimous distinction.
