Ashes You Leave is a Croatian metal group formed in 1995. Originally performing as Icon, they released the demo ...But Dreaming (1995) before changing their name. Their first recordings as Ashes You Leave include the demo The Kingdom Before the Lies (1996) and the debut album The Passage Back to Life (1998). This was followed by the albums Desperate Existence (1999) and The Inheritance of Sin and Shame (2000). Their discography includes the album Fire (2002), featuring vocalist Marina Zrilić, and the album Songs of the Lost (2009). Subsequent recordings include The Cure for Happiness (2012). The group includes Berislav Poje, Marta Batinic, and Tamara Mulaosmanović.
