Andrés Suárez Otero, born April 16, 1983, in Ferrol, Spain, is a Spanish singer-songwriter. At 20, he formed his first band and later moved to Santiago de Compostela. His debut album, De ida, was released in 2002. In 2006, Suárez won the Certamen de Jóvenes Cantautores Burgos. He collaborated with Tontxu on his second album, Maneras de romper una ola (2008), which sold nearly 5,000 copies. In 2011, he promoted his third album, Cuando vuelva la marea, featuring the single "Lo malo está en el aire" and a collaboration with Pablo Milanés on "Perdón por los bailes". Suárez took a hiatus from performing in late 2012 but returned with the live album Moraima in 2013. Subsequent albums include Mi pequeña historia (2015), his self-titled album (2020), and Viaje de vida y vuelta (2023).
