CF98, a Polish pop punk/skate punk band from Krakow, was formed in 2003. The band's name stood for Californium, symbolizing their goal to motivate people to activate their inner positive energy. Influenced by bands like New Found Glory and Early Saves the Day, CF98 released their debut album Enjoy in 2006 through Pasażer Records. They followed this with several albums including Tiny Drum, Apple Juice, And Virgin Island on the Magic Store (2008), Nic Do Stracenia (2010), and 13 (2013). After a period of personnel changes, CF98 released their fifth studio album, Story Makers, in 2017 via Antena Krzyku. The band has performed extensively across Europe and Japan, supporting acts such as Satanic Surfers and Billy Talent, and appearing at festivals like the Punk Rock Holiday in Slovenia and Pol’and’Rock in Poland. In 2022, CF98 released This is Fine through Sound Speed Records and SBÄM Records.
