Tackleberry was a German hardcore punk band formed in 2004. The group released their debut demo, The losers win it all someday, in the same year. In 2006, Tackleberry put out two split CDs, one featuring Cut'n'Run and another with The Force Within. They toured extensively, including a trip through Ukraine and Russia with What We Feel. Their first full-length album, Call Me Green, was released in 2008 by Zeitstrafe Records. The band continued to gain prominence with their second album, Reinventing Appetite for Destruction, in 2009. Tackleberry's music often addressed left-wing political themes, including anti-capitalism and anti-fascism. In August 2012, the band announced their dissolution at the end of the year, releasing a final EP, Additional Time.
