Ascend The Hill is a worship music group from Tampa, Florida, formed in 2008 by Joel Davis, who serves as lead vocalist and guitarist. Initially known as Ben Davis, they released the EP Ben Davis in 2008, before signing to Come&Live! Records and rebranding as Ascend The Hill. The self‑titled studio album debuted in 2009, followed by Hymns: Take the World, but Give Me Jesus in 2010, and O Ransomed Son in 2012, all under Come&Live! Records. The group toured the United States, concluding with a final tour in 2016 that began and ended in Tampa.
