Riistetyt is a Finnish hardcore punk band from Tampere formed in 1981. Initially known as Cadgers, they recorded one split 7-inch with Kaaos before changing their name. Their first release under the new name was the EP Laki ja järjestys (1982). Their early albums, including Valtion vankina (1983) and Skitsofrenia (1983), established them as pioneers of hardcore punk in Finland. They played until 1985, then reunited in 1991. They toured extensively across Europe, Brazil, and the United States. Other notable releases include Raiskattu tulevaisuus (1984), Kuka Valehtelee? (2001), and Kuolonhymnejä (2009). Their first full-length album Valtion vankina is considered an undisputed classic. Their lineup has seen numerous changes, but lead vocalist Lazze and bassist Piise are two founding members who remained with them during most of their activity.
