Triddana, an Argentinian Celtic power folk metal band, was formed in 2011 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The group emerged after several members departed from Skiltron and released their debut EP in the same year. Triddana's first album, Ripe for Rebellion, was released in 2012, receiving positive reception worldwide. The band's second full-length album, The Power & the Will, was released in 2015 through Power Prog and marked their international debut with performances in Europe in 2016. Triddana continued to tour extensively across Europe, releasing Twelve Acoustic Pieces in 2017 and Rising from Within in 2018. Their music became known for its fusion of Scottish and Irish folk elements with powerful metal, featuring traditional instruments like the Highland bagpipes and Irish tin whistle.
