Destrage, an Italian progressive metalcore band, was formed in 2002. The group initially consisted of Paolo Colavolpe on vocals and Matteo Di Gioia on guitar, with other members joining over the years. Their debut album, Urban Being, was released in 2007, marking their entry into the music scene. Destrage went on to release several albums, including The King Is Fat'n'Old (2010), Are You Kidding Me? No. (2014), and A Means to No End (2016). Notable singles from these albums include "Symphony of the Ego". In 2022, they released their final album, SO MUCH. too much., which included the single "Everything Sucks and I Think I'm a Big Part of It". Destrage announced their disbandment in November 2023, with farewell shows scheduled for October 2024, culminating in a final concert at Alcatraz in Milan on October 20.
