Shrinebuilder was an American stoner and doom metal supergroup whose origins were established around 2003-04 before solidifying their lineup in early 2008. The band featured Al Cisneros on bass and vocals, Scott "Wino" Weinrich on guitar and vocals, Scott Kelly on guitar and vocals, and Dale Crover on drums. The band released their self-titled debut album Shrinebuilder in October 2009 on Neurot Recordings. Following its release, the band performed live sporadically due to scheduling conflicts among members. Notable performances included their first US show arranged by Club My War at The Viper Room in November 2009 and an appearance on the main stage at the Roadburn Festival in 2011. Despite plans for a second album, Shrinebuilder's future was uncertain by late 2012, with Wino explicitly stating in 2014 that the band would not continue.
