The Optimists

Coast-Rock outfit “The Optimists’ make alternative music that’s gritty, energetic and filled with bright-eyed hooks. Inspired by late nights, long drives and growing up by the sea, tracks like “Running Around” and “Another Mistake” capture a feeling that’s both nostalgic and restless.Hailing from the Isle of Wight, the same musical scene that delivered Wet Leg, Coach Party, Level 42, and The Bees, The Optimists are fast becoming one of the island’s most exciting new acts. Already having supported bands and artists like The K’s, The Clause, Vistas and The Lilacs, they've quickly made a name for themselves with high-energy performances at major festivals, including Victorious and the Isle of Wight Festival's Main Stage.
