Terra Naomi Englebardt, also known as Terra Naomi, is an American indie folk singer-songwriter from Saratoga Springs, New York. She began studying classical piano and voice at a young age, eventually pursuing a degree in opera from The University of Michigan. Naomi's music career took off when she moved to New York City after college, where she started writing songs and playing guitar. Her breakthrough came with the release of "Say It's Possible" on YouTube in June 2006, which garnered significant attention. In March 2007, she received one of the inaugural YouTube Video Awards in the music video category for the song. Naomi later signed with Universal Music Publishing Group and Island Records. Her debut studio album, Under The Influence, was released in 2007. After leaving Island Records, she independently released her second album, To Know I'm Ok, in 2011.
