Katastrophy Wife was an American rock band formed in 1998 by Kat Bjelland and Glen Mattson. Bjelland, known for fronting Babes in Toyland from 1987 to 2001, used Katastrophy Wife as her primary musical outlet after Babes in Toyland became inactive. Their debut album Amusia was released in 2001 and achieved indie success, securing them a slot at the Reading Festival in 2002. Following lineup changes, they released their second studio album All Kneel in June 2004, featuring singles "Liberty Belle" and "Money Shot." The band faced internal issues and lineup changes throughout its career, with Bjelland and drummer Adrian Johnson continuing to record under the name Katastrophy Wife until 2010. A 10th anniversary reissue of All Kneel was released in May 2014 as part of Record Store Day.
