Anthony Pappa, born Anthony Pappalardo on November 15, 1973 in Italy, is an Australian DJ and electronic music producer raised in Melbourne. He started his DJ career at 13, winning Australia's DMC DJ championship at 15, and by 21 was performing at prominent clubs. After meeting Sasha and John Digweed during an Australian tour, Pappa moved to Great Britain. He appeared on DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs list from 1997 to 2003 and played at festivals like I Love Techno in France. His mix compilations were released on labels such as Platipus Records, Renaissance Recordings, Global Underground, and the NuBreed series. In 1998, he produced "Skydive" (1998) with Alan Bremner under the name Freefall, featuring Jan Johnston on vocals. He also remixed tracks for Chicane, including a bootleg of "Offshore" that charted at number 17 in the UK.
