Jeden Tag Silvester, a German pop-rock band from Bad Oldesloe, originated in 2008 when Bertram Ulrich, Niclas Jawinsky, Till Krohn, and Tom Rieken met at a local festival. Initially covering songs by artists like Lenny Kravitz and Jan Delay under the name "Copy Paste," they later transitioned to original compositions as "Format." In 2010, the band adopted the name Jeden Tag Silvester and released their first EP, Sie werden von uns erzählen, the following year. Their breakthrough came in 2014 with the release of their self-titled debut album, produced at the Peer Studio in Hamburg. The album featured collaborations with Johannes Oerding and included notable singles like "Am Wasser" and "Giganten". In 2015, they participated in the Bundesvision Song Contest representing Schleswig-Holstein with the song "Dein Glück", finishing tenth. Their second album, Geisterjägerstadt, released in 2017, achieved chart success in Germany, with the title track amassing high streaming numbers.
