Winny Puhh, an Estonian metal band formed in 1993 in Põlva, gained significant attention in 2006 with their song "Nuudlid ja hapupiim" (Noodles and Sour Milk), which secured them a spot on Raadio 2's yearly hit songs. Their music video for "Vanamutt" (The Old Lady) was nominated for the Estonian Music Awards in 2008. In 2013, Winny Puhh participated in the Estonian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest with "Meiecundimees üks Korsakov läks eile Lätti" (Korsakov, the guy around our area, went to Latvia yesterday), finishing third. The band released several albums including Täämba õdagu praadimi kunna in 2006 and Brääznik in 2010.
