Leo Von is a Country Music Melting Pot. Inspired by all things American, his music blends decades and genres into a soulful, heartfelt, and often times, great for dancing songs.
Ronnie Dunn said: “The dance floor dictates your success. If you get ‘em to dancing, they’ll drink more and that’s who they hire back.” This is what inspired Leo to write “The Only Country Bar in Town”, a dance tune that tells a story of how Country Music can set you free if you just find what’s in your heart.
This combination, fused with years of live performances, gave the singer the ability to bend styles and update traditional sounds, like his rendition of the hit “One More Try”, and the classic “A Whiter Shade of Pale”.
Highly influenced by the nineties “new traditional” sound of Alan Jackson, George Strait, and Brooks and Dunn, his songwriting is equally influenced by the sixties and seventies hitmakers, Paul McCartney, John Denver, and Glen Campbell.
Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Leo Von started performing at the early age of 12. After graduating from college, he’s found success in side projects writing for television, like the theme song “Only U”. After moving to the U.S., Leo worked as a “hired gun” singer, while also performing solo as an acoustic act in bars and restaurants across America. Tired of just playing other people’s songs, he decided to independently release his original material and contribute the American Country Music scene.
