Remy Le Boeuf, born on August 3, 1986, in Santa Cruz, California, is a jazz saxophonist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who moved to New York City in 2004. He earned Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Manhattan School of Music and studied philosophy and anthropology at Columbia University. His professional debut was in 2009 with the Manhattan School of Music Jazz Orchestra, featuring guest spots with Dave Liebman and Jeff Fairbanks’ Bigband. He has toured with the Le Boeuf Brothers, performed at Carnegie Hall, Monterey Jazz Festival, and the Kennedy Center, and earned ASCAP Foundation awards and a 2014 Grammy nomination. He released Light as a Word (2019), Assembly of Shadows (2019), Architecture of Storms (2021), Heartland Radio (2024), and Silent Course (2025).
