Narsilion is a Spanish neoclassical darkwave band originating from Tarrasa, Barcelona, formed in 2000. Initially known as Aranmanoth, they renamed themselves to Narsilion in 2002 following the dissolution of Ordo Funebris. The name "Narsilion" is derived from J.R.R. Tolkien's Legendarium and refers to a song about the creation of the Sun and Moon. They released their debut album Nerbeleth (2004), followed by the EP Return to the Silver Forest (2004) and the album Arcadia (2006). Their subsequent albums include Namárië (2008) and Elenna Nórë (2011). Their music combines elements of classical music with modern instruments like guitars and traditional Japanese instruments, often drawing comparisons to the style of Dead Can Dance.
