Last Tribe was a Swedish progressive metal band founded in 2000 by guitarist Magnus Karlsson. Born south of Sweden in 1973, Karlsson began playing guitar at age 10 and joined multiple bands before forming Last Tribe. The band released their debut album The Ritual in 2001, which marked a significant breakthrough for the group. Following the success of The Ritual, Last Tribe underwent lineup changes, with bassist Dick Lövgren and drummer Jaime Salazar joining the band. They went on to release two more albums: Witch Dance in 2002 and The Uncrowned in 2003. The band disbanded later that year.
