Oleksandr Yarmak, known professionally as ЯрмаК, and born on October 24, 1991, in Boryspil, Kyiv, Ukraine, is a rapper who performed songs in both Russian and Ukrainian, covering themes ranging from humor and love to social injustice. In the summer of 2011, Yarmak began publishing his tracks on VK and a video streaming platform, releasing his first music video that December which garnered over a million views within two weeks. His debut album ЯсЮТуба was released in October 2012, followed by Второй альбом in October 2013. In March 2015, Yarmak released his third studio album Made in UA. He has been actively involved in social causes, including supporting protests during Euromaidan and releasing the patriotic song "22" (2014) with MC TOF. During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Yarmak joined the Territorial Defense Forces as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
