Sedrenn was a Franco-Greek Celtic music group formed in 1994 by harpists and singers Christine Mérienne and Elisa Vellianiti. Mérienne began learning the harp at age eight in Verrières-le-Buisson, and Vellianiti was born in Corfu where she studied the instrument to accompany her voice. Their musical style blended traditional Celtic melodies with jazz and tango and was characterized by a Mediterranean color. In 1996, the group released the album Chemin faisant... through Keltia Musique. In 1999, the band released the album De l'autre côté. The ensemble included guitarist Arnaud Rüest.
