Calum Graham, born 29 October 1991 in Canada, is a guitarist known for his fingerstyle technique. He began playing at age twelve under his father’s guidance and later studied Classical Guitar at the University of Calgary and Mount Royal University, where exposure to Don Ross’s Bearing Straight inspired a shift toward fingerstyle. His breakthrough came in 2009 when he won the Calgary Stampede Talent Search and the national contest, followed by a 2009 second-place finish and a 2010 win at the Canadian Guitar Festival. In 2011, he won the Canada’s Walk of Fame “A Song For Canada” contest, earning cash and studio time. Graham released the album 12:34 in 2013, followed by Phoenix Rising the same year, Tabula Rasa in 2016, and Thread of Creation in 2019.
