Perpetuum Jazzile, a Slovenian a cappella group founded in 1983 as Gaudeamus Chamber Choir, emerged from a diverse ensemble of male and female singers. The group released Pozabi, da se ti mudi in 2003, followed by Čudna noč (2006) and Africa (2009). Their breakthrough came with the viral 2009 performance of "Africa" by Toto, which garnered millions of views on a streaming platform and earned praise from original co‑writer David Paich. In 2008, they received the Vokal Total Award at the International Choir Festival, and in 2010 they earned the Viktor Award, Slovenia’s premier music honor. International tours in 2011 reached Croatia, Germany, Canada, and the USA, while collaborations with the Slovenian Radio and Television Big Band and Maraaya enriched their repertoire. Subsequent albums Vocal Ecstasy (2012), Thank You for the Music (2013), and The Show, Live in Arena (2014) expanded their catalog.
