Genlog, a German band that primarily produces techno and drum and bass music, consists of Claus Pieper, Oliver Kuntzer, and Ingo Kays. The band's debut single Mockmoon from their EP Genlog EP Vol 1, released in 1992 on the Belgian label Music Man, marked their breakthrough moment, leading to performances at major events like Mayday. In 1993, Genlog signed with Low Spirit Recordings and released several EPs, including Can You Feel It? and House for You and Me. Their first album, Alive and Kicking, was released in 1996. The band also produced under various project names such as Atropin Project and Energy Artist Squad. In 2002, Genlog released the single "This is Not a Lovesong" featuring Jeff Ogle from Transmitter, and the album Real Techno in the Mix. This year also saw the disbandment of Pieper and Kuntzer, with Claus Pieper continuing to produce under the project name Eigenart.
