Jacob Paulson, known professionally as JK-47, is an Indigenous Australian rapper from Tweed Heads South, New South Wales. Born on January 15, 1997, Paulson began rapping at 14 and released his debut solo single "Came for the Lot" in September 2019, featuring Brisbane rapper Nerve. In January 2020, he was announced as a support act for Adrian Eagle's Mama Tour. He released his debut album Made for This on September 4, 2020, which included notable tracks such as "The Recipe" and "I Am Here (Trust Me)". The album received critical acclaim. Paulson's performance of "Changes" with Bronte Eve for Triple J's Like a Version segment further solidified his presence in the Australian music scene. In August 2022, he released "At One (reVision)" and announced his second studio album Revision for Regrowth.
