Corpsing, an English extreme metal band formed in 2000, originated from the efforts of guitarist Giuseppe Cutispoto following his departure from Infestation. Joined by his brother Mick on lead guitar, they began writing material that blended death, black, thrash, and doom metal with other non-metal influences. By 2002, Corpsing had a complete lineup and started rehearsals for their debut album, Watching the Thinker, which was released in 2005 under Goat of Mendes Records. The band's line-up evolved, eventually including Kyle Austin on vocals, James Cormack on bass guitar, Nicholas Plews on drums, and David Adambery on synths and soundscapes. Their subsequent albums include The Stench of Humanity (2007), Regnum (2017), and Civilization Under Nefarious Tyrants (2020).
