Kiveli Dörken, a German pianist of Greek descent, was born on July 17, 1995, in Düsseldorf. She began piano training at age five with Marina Kheifets and later studied under Karl-Heinz Kämmerling. Dörken's early breakthrough came as a finalist at the Internationalen Steinway Wettbewerb in Hamburg at just five years old, followed by numerous awards including first prizes at the Grotrian-Steinweg competition and the Bundeswettbewerb Jugend musiziert. She has performed extensively across Europe, Asia, and North America, with notable engagements such as playing for the Dalai Lama in 2007 and for German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Washington D.C. in 2009. Dörken co-founded the Molyvos International Music Festival with her sister Danae Dörken in 2015. In 2023, she released her album Apollo & Dionysus.
