Kırmızı, a Turkish Anatolian heavy metal band, was founded in Istanbul in 2005 by Idil Çağatay and Aslı Polat. The group released their first single "Kırmızı" in 2010, followed by the music videos for "Veda Etme" and "Kırmızı". In March 2011, Kırmızı released their debut album Isyan, marking it as Turkey’s first all-female band album. The album featured collaborations including a duet with Hayko Cepkin on the music video for "Çekilin Başımdan". In October 2011, they performed on CNN International's show Inside the Middle East. Kırmızı also supported social causes, dedicating the song "Araf" to the Fight against Domestic Violence platform. The band released an underwater performance music video for their song "Elveda" in 2012, and they were invited to perform at Festival Mundial in the Netherlands.
