Luis Daniel Otero Sierra, known professionally as D.OZi, is a Puerto Rican reggaetón and Latin rap artist born on August 3, 1988 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He began writing at a young age and emerged in the Puerto Rican underground before releasing Los del Control in 2010 and Torre de Control in 2012, projects rooted in hard-edged reggaetón and street rap. His 2014 album El Suero de la Calle widened his reach with collaborations including Daddy Yankee on "Otro Amanecer", De La Ghetto on "Hoy Suelto La Corta", Divino on "No Llores" and J Alvarez on "Si Tu No Estas", while "La Mano Se Te Fue" became one of his signature solo tracks. In 2016, he revisited the song with Justin Quiles and Gotay “El Autentiko” on "La Mano Se Te Fue (Remix)" and released La Capital, a 14-track album featuring Farruko on "Donde Te Pillemos 2", Pusho on "Muerte Al Cuban", Ken-Y on "Ganas De Vivir" and Messiah on "Le Gustan Los Gangster". The trap-leaning EP Aka Trap followed in 2017, before D.OZi joined Pusho and Juanka on "Por Mi Familia" in 2019 and returned with the album Guaguanco in 2020. He continued that period with "On Call" with Jay Wheeler and later released "Maleante (Remix)" with Nicky Jam in 2022. In 2023, D.OZi issued Blue Magic, a 13-track Latin rap album including "Tributo a Don" and "Dios Cuídame" with I-Zaak. His 2025–2026 run included singles and collaborations such as "MENORCITO", "ASICS" with Fronti, "100ml Part 3", "INTRO" with Best and Sly, and "Gol de México" with Big Metra and Angelina Victoria.
