The Cameo Blues Band, formed in Toronto in 1978, is a blues band. They were named after the Cameo Lounge and featured early members such as Richard “Hock” Walsh, John Bride, and “Rabbit” Ray Harrison. Their breakthrough came with the 2002 release of All Play and No Work on Make It Real Records, showcasing contributions from former vocalists and guest musicians Michael Fonfara and Freddie Keeler. In 2012, the group followed with 10,000 Hours, again under Make It Real Records. The band’s collaborations included work with Downchild Blues Band singers and touring across Ontario. They held their 30th‑anniversary concert in 2009 at the Lighthouse Festival Theatre.
