Vatrogasci, a Croatian multi-genre musical band, was formed in 1991 in Zagreb by Tihomir Borošak and Dean Parmak. The group is known for their humorous songs and parodies of contemporary musical acts. Their first song, "Vatrogasac Mirko", was recorded during a break while waiting for the next client. After recording, they needed a singer and found Vladimir Pavelić. Dean Parmak left the band after four albums, followed by Pavelić. Mladen Martinović then became their singer for the next decade, succeeded by Goran Borošak for subsequent releases. Their parody of "Rivers of Babylon" by Boney M, titled "Joj što volim", became a notable hit in 1992. Their discography includes notable albums such as Vatrogasna Zabava Vol. 3 (1994), Priče Iz Radione (1998), and Dvodojak (2014). They parodied many Croatian bands, singers, and international acts like Boney M, ABBA, The Buggles, Queen, The Police, and Guns N' Roses.
