Atom Smash, a hard rock band from Miami, Florida, was formed in 2006 by Serg Gabriel Sanchez and producer Paul Trust. The group included guitarist Alex Zilinski and bassist Arnold Nese, with drummer Mark "Taco" Annino joining in 2008. The band released their first EP Sacrifice in 2008, followed by a nationwide tour. In January 2010, Atom Smash signed with Jive Records and released their debut album Love Is in the Missile (2010). The album featured the hit single "Do Her Wrong", which charted at number 30 on the Mainstream Rock chart. "Sacrifice" was used as the theme for the WWE Hell in a Cell PPV in 2010. Despite their early success, Atom Smash was released from Jive Records in early 2011. Their follow-up album Beautiful Alien came out in 2012.
