The Zenith Passage is an American technical death metal band from Los Angeles, California, founded in 2012 by Justin McKinney and Greg Hampton. The group released their debut EP Cosmic Dissonance on January 28, 2013, following a one-track demo earlier that year. In April 2016, they released their first full-length album, Solipsist, featuring guest vocals from Alex Hofmann of Fallujah and a guitar solo by Wes Hauch (ex-The Faceless). The band signed with Metal Blade Records in December 2022 and released their second LP, Datalysium, on July 21, 2023. Notable singles include "Algorithmic Salvation" (2021), "Synaptic Depravation" (2022), and "Fleshbound Reliquary" (2025). The Zenith Passage has been closely linked with fellow Los Angeles metal band The Faceless, with several members crossing over between the two groups.
